We have emails accounts also maintained by the present service provider.

Can anybody suggest me is the above correct and also how to do this first moving website and then how to move the mail account and service to "B" mx pointing to eb changed.

My requirement woudl be even though after moving to service provider "B" for the website still for few days would like have continued with mails with the "B" service provider.

redirecting emails isn't a difficult job. All you need to is to make sure your email accounts are all setup on the NEW PROVIDER EMAIL SERVER and then you need to point the MX record to point to the NEW SERVER and the emails will start flowing normally.

It is not needed to have working emails on the current provider once the MX change has been done but I would do it over the weekend to be on safe side though the propagation do not take that long.

The only thing that you need to be careful of is to make sure that you copy all the details to the new server. This can be a manual job, you can export the emails to a .pst (if you use outlook) or some other format and import them over.

or you can speak to the new provider who might be able to help you with that.
