Could someone please recommend a good online fax service suitable for use from the UK. What i'm hoping to do is to fax a pdf document or series of documents to UK fax number.

Apologies if these are not quite the right TAs for this question: it's quite an urgent requirement and i couldn't find anything more apt.

I used jfax/j2 for a long time:
http://www.j2.com/

But I switched to TrustFax a while ago because it was less expensive at the time (and has been just as good as j2):
http://www.trustfax.com/

It's possible that j2 has responded competitively in pricing, but I haven't looked at it recently, as I've been happy with TrustFax.

I believe they're both suitable for use in the UK, but I'm not certain of that. I'm sure you'll be able to determine that with a quick call or email to them. Cheers, Joe

Thanks Joe. The problem there is it looks like a subscription model. I want pay-as-you-go

Yes, those two have only monthly plans. I haven't tried it myself, but you may want to give HelloFax a spin. They have a "Free" plan, which isn't really free (well, it's free for 5 pages per month), but there's no monthly fee and you simply pay-as-you-go...99 cents/fax:

A downside to the "Free" plan is that you don't get a fax number (for inbound faxes), but since you're just sending, that should not be an issue for you. They offer a 30-day trial, so it can't hurt to give it a try. Regards, Joe
