Saas Cloud Database Reporting Tools: Your input is required!

Due to a very tight (TINY!) start-up budget, I’m looking at various options that will allow clients to view dashboards and reports from a webpage.

I’m currently using a SQL Server 2012 database to store the raw data in-house.

Essentialy, I’d like to build reports and dashboards from in-house databases that clients can access using some sort of Cloud database reporting tool.

What are the various SaaS / Cloud options that will enable me to build sophisticated Business Intelligence dashboard and reports that external clients can access from a web-browser without the start-up owning the actual hardware in-house?

Bear in mind I am totally flexible as long as the goal is achieved.

Any thoughts?

Kind regards,

I cannot recommend anything - I have no experience on SAAS reporting.

But - until yesterday I didn't know that Microsoft has already published Azure Reporting.
Seems that the product is not in a mature level yet though

hmm, they have quite bad known issues IMO
So I doubt it is yet usable in production.

Very interesting thing anyway. And seems that this is the direction Microsoft is going with it's BI stack. When they get Reporting working properly, SSAS to the cloud and the limitations of PowerPivot and Office365 Excel (data size) overridden - MS BI in cloud it starts to be a real option.

Thanks for the feedback!

I did further research and learned that Amazon RDS for Microsoft SQL Server allows for the full version of SQL Server 2012 to be hosted in the cloud and with the use of Microsoft Amazon Machine Images (AMI) SSRS reporting is also possible.

http://aws.amazon.com/rds/

Still doing research will update soon.
