Remove of Edit Top Sites in Firefox Android

Can I remove the Top Sites tab in Firefox (Android 4.x+)?
or remove all sites from this list?

I can remove one site at a time, but this is too laborious.

According to this site: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/935764 - There is no way to do this at this time. There is however a workaround/bandaid fix.
