Another WSUS question

Apparently the past month has been the WSUS month.

OK, i get a msg across the top of the WSUS MMC that says the following:
One or more Update Service components could not be contacted.  Check your server status and ensure that windows server update services is running.  Non-running services:
CatalogSyncAgent, ContentSyncAgent, WSUSService.

Should i see this when i open up my services MMC?

And another thing i keep noticing is that the Update Services keeps stopping, it is set to automatic startup, but i keep having to start the service.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

got it sort of figured out, the Synch is now running, i went thru some documentation and settings and permissions, and that seemed to resolve this issue.

btw trg...  i tried running wsusutil checkhealth, that wont run for some reason, i tried it just like you typed it.  I have seem people mention this before, but not sure what the exact syntex is.
