Hi is she opening in Reader or Acrobat, and what version is it? If she can't open in Acrobat can she try in Reader instead? Newer versions have improved security that prevents you actually doing any work.

One solution is to check the ZIP extension is included in the feature lockdown list in the registry (the location will vary depending on version and 32-bit/64-bit OS, but just search for all instances of tBuiltInPermList

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\FeatureLockDown\cDefaultLaunchAttachmentPerms\tBuiltInPermList

Refer here for further details.

Another option that has worked for others is to Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) and add the folder path or file location, even if it is local machine.

Hope that helps
