RDS Related

After setting up RDS on a server the below message is displayed when an attempt is made to make a standard remote desktop connection into the server. Any solutions are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

“Remote Desktop Connection could not find the destination computer. This can happen if the computer name is incorrect or the computer is not yet registered with Session Broker. Try connecting again, of contact your network administrator.”

Does this happen on only RDP 8.0 protocol clients (ie windows 8 and 7sp1 with RDP 8.0 upgrade?)

If so, on one of your windows 7 machines, please uninstall KB2592687 and re-test.

You can also look at this:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/rds/archive/2012/10/23/rdp-8-0-update-for-windows-7-sp1-released-to-web.aspx

It doesn't directly address the problem, but it did help me diagnose my problem--which is still unresolved.  (since Dec 28th)

ASKER

No that actually did not work for me. I got the same massage. The machine I'm trying to gain access from would be a Win7 and Win7 Enterprise machine. Prior to configuring the RDS server it worked fine.
