ipad 1 and apple TV

i have an old ipad that needs airplay enabled/setup with mirroring; as it turns out ipad 1 do not support mirroring; is there a software out there that can make this happen; from my research i am turning up empty

Hi NxJNY,

Unfortunately, the iPad1 doesn't have the ability to mirror via Airplay to the AppleTV like iPad 2. The best bet if you want to display your 1 on the TV is to get a cable: http://www.amazon.com/GSI-Quality-Adapter-iPhone-iTouch/dp/B005HRT88G

which will allow you to put a great picture to your TV via an HDMI port.

If you do have an older Mac though and want to display your screen via AirPlay to your AppleTV you can use AirParrot: http://airparrot.com
