Greetings, I have an application that runs from having an environment variable set in the user variables. 1 of 3 standard users can run the application, the other 2 standard users are not recieving the user variable to there profile. There is no difference between the users, if all make the 2 failing users local admin's the user variable does not copy of either.

Have user the MC2_USERPATH = c:\users\%username% or c:\users\%userprofile% the 2 failing users cannot recieved the user variable.

As a tempoary fix I was able to assign them to Local Admin group, the application we are using is extremely old and has little support. I still want to find a total resolution as this will be a production server in our Citrix Farm.

Below is the set path that needs to be available in order for the application to run.

Hi

Does any of this help: http://forums.citrix.com/message.jspa?messageID=615503

Versions of what you're using (Citrix / OS) would really help us to assist you.

I would try using a wrapper batch file.
@echo off
set MC_ICA=1
set MC_USERPATH=%userprofile%
<path to exe>\myexe.exe

Open in new window

If you are using a published app, then you would publish cmd.exe /c <path to batch file>
