Indexing Personal Folders in Outlook 2010

I have a few users in the office that are using outlook 2010 with attached personal folders for email archiving. When do a search for emails that are in the personal folder nothing comes up in the search results. I've confirmed that personal folders are selected within the indexing options.. I rebuilt the indexing and it started to work properly... too only break down a day after rebuilding the index.

It has worked so think along the following lines;

Make sure the index selection is only local. Use cached mode in Outlook to keep the index files local. Also make sure Outlook is selected along with the user folder. Rebuild the index again after making changes.

If you think indexing is not the issue, select one machine, run System File Checket. Run SFC /SCANNOW and allow to complete. Run again if errors remain uncorrected. Restart the computer. Then run an Outlook / Office repair and fully patch Office including Office SP 1.
