Cisco Equipment

I have a Cisco WLC 4402 and 1142N access points. I have the APs joined to the WLC, but I can't get any devices to connect to the APs. From what I have seen from searches, I think that series controller needs to have a RADIUS server in order for devices to authenticate. Can anyone shed light on this? Thank you.

You don't 'need' a RADIUS server if you want to use a passkey to connect.

On the WLC, go to the WLAN page, click on the number next to the SSID you want to configure, click on Security then make sure either WPA or WPA2 is ticked, and you choose PSK from the authentication methods below.

That worked just fine. I must have passed over that option. Thank you
