Can I export a MOSS 2007 site and import it in SharePonint 2010?

I was wondering whether it was possible to export a site from MOSS 2007 and import it to SharPoint 2010. Especially, If I only a certain site/web in the site collection from MOSS 2007

No,  you can attach a 2007 content database to a 2010 server and have it upgrade itself though.
Otherwise create a bare shell of the site on 2010 and then copy the content over
