Hello Experts

Outlook 2010 setup as pop internet account.

under define send/received setting click download header only, and it would not received any new message.

unclick it then all message will download, was working before but after attempting adding a new gmail account into outlook (which current all removed) the download header-only option no longer working. The PST Data files size is currently about 6.8GB

Please advise thank you.

what do you mean by "unclick it then all message will download"?

Could you post back a screen shot of your settings?

My setting for Send or Receive is shown below.

When I click "download header only" ---> Nothing will happen

when I click on "Download complete item includes attachment"  ---> Message will download.

Which ISP is your email service provider?

Have you checked with your ISP for the mail server log?

Have you contacted Critical Path for a support call on your issue?

Besides, how do you setup and remove Gmail from Outlook 2010?

Do you use the same PST file for both CP.net and Gmail account?

Call Critpal path, they said their server working 100% it's something on the outlook that cause the issue.

Add gmail using the standard pop/smtp from the account setting in outlook, but shortly remove entire account.

Yes use the same pst.file for CP.net and gmail.

thank you

How many days that your email will be kept on the mail server?

You need to set it to zero day and do the following.

Download all existing mail with attachment.

Create a new mail profile with a new post file.

Manually drag and drop all messages from corresponding folders from the old pst file to the new pst file.

Disable the old mail profile and test whether you can download with header only.

It is just like the process of transferring all contents of outlook from an old computer to new computer and if the test is OK, move all stuff from the old pst file to the new pst file.

You do not need to delete the old pst file as just in case you miss any thing, you can copy them from the old pst file.
