2012 Hyper V error after initial replication to USB
Hi-
I am in the proceess of setting up replication for one of my VMs which is 1.5T. This will be replicatin to a sever across the WAN. I selected to send the initial replica to a USB device so I can ship it to the other site. It looks like the initial replica to the usb succeed (it updated the last sync status) but it also looks like its trying to replicateagain and is failing and restarting at 4%. The error I get in the log is :
Hyper-V could not replicate changes for virtual machine 'XXXXX: The operation timed out (0x00002EE2). (Virtual Machine ID 014EAF78-A079-4FC3-BB24-BA C6AE705A7B ).
Is this normal until the replica is loaded at the second site. I would think it would be smart enough to communicate that the initial replica is not yet loaded.
Thanks.
