exchange relay logs

have a machine that can't access a relay that points to an exchange 2007 server, all the other servers in that subnet can access it fine.  Where could i look on the exchange server for logs that will maybe help tell me why the session is being rejected?

You can look into SMTP logs (Message Tracking with Shell can help as well)
