Access VM resources

Hi, I have inherited a network with no documentation. I am looking for some backups that are likely stored on a VM.
I am able connect to and start up the VM (ESXi 5.50.0 running on an HP DL380G5 8CPU/6HD box), using vSphere client and in summary see the DNS name is the same as another DC in the domain. The IP address is 169.xxx.xxx.xx. (perhaps I can connect to it on that net?)
I can also see the console on the console tab.

How can I connect to the VM remotely or interact with the console to access the resources?

TIA

This worked, I wondered why the DNS and IP were identical to another DC and see someone had converted the DC to a VM and installed it on the HP for whatever reason. Thanks guys
