Delete Google Results Cache for FTP site
Hello Experts
Some of our customers data have accidentally been indexed by google, although the contents has been removed from the FTP site however its still showing up in the cache.
I must get this deleted ASAP.
I have submitted few links on the webmaster tool but its redirecting the links to the HTTP site not the FTP?
When I give the URL in the Link Removal Tool, its adding the URL to the website address
ex:http://www.abc.com/ ftp://abc.com
I am not really sure now how can I go about making sure the FTP website cache gets cleared from the google result pages?
Please can someone advise?
Thanks
Charlie

ASKER
Hi
Thanks for your input. I have tried that but its not helping me really.
Please check the attached for the example URL
I have also added www.site.com and ftp.site.com under web master tools and added the urlst to be removed last night, most of the URLs which I have added www.site.com has now have the status "removed" however I can see the cache results.
I am not sure if there is something I am doing completely wrong here?
Please can you advise?
Thanks

You might want to simply change your ftp site structure so the links go nowhere, that would be safest as that is entirely under your control.
