Windows/Linux Python IDEs.

Hi there;

I want to know my options for python IDEs. I am using Komodo but what are my options free/paid ones in Windows and Linux?

Intellisense, debug feature, auto complete, underline for errors before running the program.

What are you using? More importantly, are you happy?

Regards.

P.S. Emacs, vi, nano, notepad++ are excluded.

ASKER

Hi;

Thanks. Yes, that may suit but:

Does it have the same features as a Java project in Eclipse?

Can I debug on elicpse by using python?

Any limitations?

Regards.

You might look at aptana studio.
Mostly it's intended for web development under python / django development, but if you use python without Django it's also fine.

I personally just use a text editor, but some people I know really swear on it and one of these persons uses it for a non web non Django Python project.
