Windows 7 Networking with XP, Vista or Windows 7
This question is more in general.
If I got three PC - Windows 7, Vista and XP.
If there is data on Windows7 Professional and would like to access it on Vista and XP computer. So how can I access the data. Do I have to have the same user name on all the PCs.
But If I have different user name for some reason then how it works.

Signing up is free and takes 30 seconds. No credit card required.
Create networkUser on every PC. Create a share on every PC. Allow access to networkUser on each of the shares.
This should work. Then you'd just simply browse to the computer \\computername\sharename or \\computername\C$ (for C drive, change the letter for different drives)
