Modify the display formatting after comparing two documents in MS Word
Hello,
When comparing two documents in MS Word (2007), is there a way to change how the differences between the two documents are displayed?
When I click the compare button (under the Review tab), it gives me two options:
• Compare…
Compare two versions of document (legal blackline).
• Combined…
Combine revisions from multiple authors into a single document.
Selecting the first option results in a document in which added content is displayed in an underlined red font within the paragraph and deleted content is displayed in balloons in the right margin.
Is it possible to modify the resulting document display formatting so that, for instance, both added and deleted content remain within the paragraph with added content having a blue font and deleted content having a red strikethrough font?
Thanks
