Joining separate AD domains
Hi,
We have multiple separate domains UK, US, Japan etc and we would like to join them in one domain since it is becoming tricky to manage user permissions across multiple domains and we would like to merge exchange solutions as well to have one exchange so there is one address list for all uses and we can all have a company.com email address rather than a company.co.uk / company-us.com / company.co.jp
In addition UK has sevaral other sites under it such as dubai / germany just done as different OU in AD.
They are all running server 2008R2.
What is the best way to join all these sites into one AD environment and under company.com domain?
Is it possible for example to create company.com domain and then join all existing domains to be sub-domains of this new domain?
Thanks
