Can't change Detail height property of Access Report.
I created a report to print a directory from my address table/query. I want the records to be listed one after another without much space in between. As you can see in the attached screenshot, there are over 2 inches of extra space between the last displayed object and the end of the Detail section. But, I can't close that space. I've tried to drag the section's bottom handle up, but it always goes back to the displayed setting. I tried to change the 4.6563" Height property in the Property window. But, the number always reverts to 4.6563". How do I change this? Is there some other setting or object that is possible preventing me from editing this.

try this,
place your mouse on the left ruler just below the 2 inch marker and drag it just above the Page Footer, then press delete
now try to adjust the height
* better if you can upload a copy of the db
