Slow logon with unavailable network drive
Hi,
I use a Windows 7 64bit laptop to work, so I mapped a network drive which isnt always available.
I want a way to keep my maped network drive and not have a slow logon (about 10 seconds) when the drive is unavailable

Signing up is free and takes 30 seconds. No credit card required.
If it is a persistent drive mapping it will always try to connect at logon and there will be a delay until it times out.

Yes Robwil I noticed that.
I want maybe a regfix to decrease the timeout value, or a even disable the reconnect at logon (without removing the drive)

Well the script works, but its not what I wanted, probably because it is not possible at all.
How do I assign points in this case?

Not possible, is often the correct answer :-)

Also need this for my desktop, which is even worse than the notebook because the desktop always has the network cable plugged. While the laptop, if I type in the password really fast after booting, it doesnt have time to connect to the wireless so the logon is fast.
