The trust relationship between the workstation and the primary domain failed

Had to reboot the server, and upon shut down, and BIOS and RAID postings got to the boot process of windows and locked up at the black screen before GUI loads, multiple times.

Tried rebooting in Safe mood, locked up on loading

Finally did a repair from the safe mode list, and now I'm getting my GUI, but I can't log in.  When I type the password I get the error "the trust relationship between the workstation and the primary domain failed"  a quick Google search shows that the "easiest" way to fix this is to go into Active Director Users and computers and "reset account" on the computer...but I'm really not sure if I can do that on a system running our Exchange Server.

This server seemed to be hit with the Win32\Small.CA virus, and the reboot was after restoring our Antivirus on the system.

When trying to log into our Exchange Management Console (pre-virus knowledge) I got the following error on the EMC snap-in:
Initialization failed

The following error occurred while attempting to connect to the specified Exchange Server 'exchange-2010.domain.local':

The attempt to connect to http://exchange-2010.brunt.local/PowerShell using "Kerberos" authentication failed:  Connecting to remote server failed wih the following error message: the WS-Management service cannot process the request.  The system laod quota of 1000 requests per 2 seconds has been exceeded.  Send future requests at a slower rate or raise the system quota.  The next request from this suer will not be approved for at least 2136377344 milliseconds.  for more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting help topic.

Any help??

YOu say this was Exchange and went out and you finally had to reset the Computer account and get things back

I would suggest run
Setup.com /PrepareAd
Run EXBPA from the toolbox and ensure all is fine
Ensure all required services are running

- Rancy
Do not reset the computer account if it is in domain..resetting is required when you disjoin and rejoin the computer to domain
just follow what smithandandersen told you he is right there is no need to do anything else

this got us logging back in...but my god it was sluggish.  turns out it's a failing drive that caused most of the problems.  Pulled the drive and went with the mirror.  Thanks for you help.
