Problems with Lync 2010 Audio Conferencing Post Storage Migration

We moved our storage from a netapp 3140 to a 3240 including all CIFS shares.  Everything has gone well except Lync audio conferencing is now almost unusable - unpredictable and failing in different respects.  Part of the migration plan was to have na3140 become a cname pointing to na3240 at the end of things.  Based on error messages I suspect there is something about this that does not work for Lync.  Anyone have a suggestion what might be going?  Some of the symptoms include long waits after recording your name to enter a conference (say a full minute, two minutes, three, indefinite).  Calls that are not answered - and other odd behavior.  It all coincides with the migration of the storage and I suspect that the Lync config which still references the old name for the shares is at the root.  Other thoughts?

Did you add the na3140's Netbios alias to the na3240?

ASKER

Didn't do that.  Instead we re-ran the Topology Builder with na3240 input along the way.  This make all the certificate errors go away and everything is working again.
