Exchange 2010 VM not shutting down
Did a shutdown as need to increase the RAM of the VM. Its been sat on the shutting down screen for about 45 minutes.
Log file updated up till about 5 minutes ago.
Would you wait or force a shutdown?

As i had said in my last post did you take down DB manually stopping IS service ?
Does it simply show Shutting down ?

yes the nice grey Microsoft shutting down message, with blue spinning circle thing had stopped...

Ive shut it down manually/unclean. Seem ok now....

Good upgrade the RAM and lets start and check our Exchange health

Ok, there was 3x dcs available, 2 remotely over 4mb connection and 1x local. However the DC that had the FSMO roles etc was offline and came back online during this shutdown,...
