Windows 7 Homegroup and Drive Mapping Problem
Greetings,
I have a Windows 7 Pro PC acting as a file server. All power saving features are off.
There are three client PC's (one is a MAC), one running Windows XP Pro and the third is running Windows 7 Pro. There are two shared folders that are mapped on the three client machines.
If the Windows 7 client is connected to the file server PC, every once in a while the MAC and XP machines will lose their mapping simultaneously (see attachments), and they have to reboot the file server PC to get their drive mappings back.
Also, if all three are connected, and the Windows 7 machine is turned off or disconnected from the Homegroup, the connection speed for the other two clients speeds up dramatically.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
