front-end browser issues

Hi,

I am having problems aligning an item description and two drop downs properly so that they appear consistent across browsers. Currently, it only shows up correctly in Chrome.

In FF and Safari, the item description is not right-aligned and the Category and Sort drop downs are not aligned vertically. There is also missing spacing between the buttons (Search / Go to lot) and the text item "Category". Could somebody help out?

See attachment for screen images (Chrome vs. FF)

Thank you,

Christian

Well using a transitional doctype pretty much insures there will be cross-browser issues and the 64 HTML validation errors are probably contributing as well. With messed up code; getting closer to valid markup generally eliminates problems and makes fixing things a little more productive.
