Why is IE9 displaying conditional text on the screen?

Hi
I have a webpage here that is showing some text in the upper left corner when the page is displayed in IE9.  The text is "<!--[if lt IE]>".

There are 2 "lt" conditional statements on the page - one for IE8 and the next for IE9.  I've done all that I can think of including removing them altogether.  And yes - I'm deleting Temporary files in between tries and validated the markup with W3C.

This is an IE only phenom.

Now - I need the conditionals so the page online now has them in the HTML.

I need an expert to please look at this page and tell me what is causing IE to display this text.

Thanks

Ah, I did not see that the words "webpage here" is a link to the page.
FWIW, I use IE9 and  see no text in the upper left corner.
Maybe you have an add-on producing it.  Any Adobe add-ons?
