New 'backup outlook profile' created in Terminal Server session

We have two users on a terminal server whose sessions build new profiles everytime Outlook is opened; created as 'backup of ... (#)' . We have deleted all .ost's and attempted to build a fresh profile, issue persists.  Deleted windows profile on terminal server and associated registry key, and build brand new windows and mail profile --> issue persists.  Unsure what might be causing this issue, only that the profile is autoconfigured *trust between exchange server*.  Again, it's only affecting two users, so the office installation is not compromised.
