Problem with HP Scanjet N6350 network scanner on Windows 8 Samsung Series 9 ultrabook
I am having an issue with an HP ScanJet N6350, Network scanner. The scanner is connected to 8 different computers without issue, including one Windows 8 machine.
First I accidentally installed the wrong HP driver, uninstalled it and reinstalled the correct one without issue.
When I run the HP utility to register the computer with the scanner, the Network utility first finds the scanner, shows the MAC and IP, then when trying to connect to it, it fails.
I can ping it, and access the web interface.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
