SBS 2003 - Stunnel and Office 365 web server.

Hi, Our service privider has decided to switch over to office exchange 365 so I now have a problem with our SBS 2003 exchange connection.

I have installed stunnel and confirgured the following file:

# Stunnel configuration file for Office 365 SMTP and POP3
# Author: MessageOps, www.messageops.com
# GLOBAL OPTIONS
client = yes
output = stunnel-log.txt
debug=4
taskbar=yes
# SERVICE-LEVEL OPTIONS
[POP3 Incoming]
accept = 110
connect = outlook.com:995
[SMTP Outgoing]
protocol = smtp
accept = 25
connect = smtp.outlook.com:587

____________________________________________________________

I get the folliwng error and cant seem to fins a solution.

Error binding service [POP3 Incoming] to 0.0.0.0:110
bind: Permission denied (WSAEACCES) (10013)

I have ran netstat and cand find anything using 110. It is listed as open and listening to 0.0.0.0

I have also tried to revise the port numbers on exchange to 115 @ 54 but I then get the following error.

connect_blocking: connect 157.56.237.251:995: Connection refused (WSAECONNREFUSED) (10061)

Do I need to install anything else to get this working or can someone help me with the bind issue.

Thanks
David.

When you say
"I have ran netstat and cand find anything using 110. It is listed as open and listening to 0.0.0.0"
Can you tell me what is listed as open and listening to 0.0.0.0? Netstat -abn will give you process/service names, and what you've said implies that something's listening on 110, and it's not stunnel (which couldn't bind to that port).
