Infopath 2007 Form Autosave and Submit

I have a web enabled SharePoint 2007 form that I developed in infopath 2010 and I am looking to have it autosave and close when a user clicks a submit button I added to the form. How would I go about doing this? I am fairly new to Infopath and I can't seem to get this working.

Are you using infopath forms for sharepoint list library or forms library ?

If it is list I understand that once you click submit button all the field details will be saved in sharepoint list.

If forms, then sharepoint will hold the content in the form of xml file.

I went ahead and followed your advice, but when I tried the form I received an error. I ran it through the design checker and it said the rule for my button could not be applied because it is not compatible with web enabled forms.
Problem solved! I had some options checked that I forgot to change when I eliminated the submit button.
