Cant access Cisco ASA5505 ASDM GUI!
running-configHi Experts,
I have a Cisco ASA5505 and has configured the following parameters.
1> ASA5505 is configured for DHCP
2>ASA5505 Internal inside address is 192.168.1.1/24
3>My laptop address is 192.168.1.2/24
4>I can ping 192.168.1.1(ASA) from the laptop.
5>I can ping laptop from the ASA
6>I also have a TFTP Server on the host address which is 192.168.1.2
7>I have the following two files which is: asdm-711-52.bin & asa825-33-k8.bin
8>Java version on host 192.168.1.2 is JAVA6U39
Problem: when I try to access the ASDM from Firefox then it display the following message.
404 Not Found
The requested URL/admin/public/index.htm l was not found on this server.
1>I do the following STEPS to access the ASDM
Experts, I would appreciate your assistance with this problem.

I have tried HTTP and this is not the correct standard to access the device.
It just times out after a while.

The issue is in your config the line:
asdm image disk0:/asdmfile
needs to have an actual asdmfile specified from one of the ones you have available on the device.

I also hear that the newer versions of java have some issues,so try back revving.
