Manually move exchange 2010 public folder database

Hi,

I have tried to move the exchange public folders database to a new drive manually but the operation hungs.

If i move the database in explorer the copy is sucessfull but i cant figure out how to specify the new path to the database in exchange.

If i use the shell och gui i only find commands for integrated copy, not just change path.

Any ides?

You can play with shell or ADSIEDIT

Hi,

Now i have moved it and the public folders work.

THe only thing is that a tmp.edb file is created in the old folder path, how do i remove that?
Dont need to do anything as its a file created to write Temp data ... please dont worry as that shouldnt harm or get too huge to affect Space

Okey, but i need to remove the drive that the files are stored on, how do i move them first?
firstly did you dismount and do this part if not please dismount and do manual movement of just the edb
