Can these be legit windows licenses?
Hi All -
I need to do a brand new install of windows on a machine that I have repaired. I need to buy a new copy of windows so I went shopping online.
I've found windows 7 pro and windows 7 home premium for $95 and $60 respectively, and windows 8 pro full for $67.
They say they are full, genuine editions, downloadable and able to be burned as an ISO to a DVD for reloading if necessary later.
Here's the link:

Note they say the windows 7 versions are "OEM" versions. But in chat they said the installs will work on any brand machine.
Do these sound like legitimate copies of software with legit licenses?
Thanks!

The reason why these OEM licenses are so cheap is because these are supposed to be packaged with computers for resale. I don't know the exact legal verbiage behind OEM licenses but I do know they were not designed for individual use and only to resell with a computer. I do know this is not the proper way to license a computer. If you want to stay clear of Microsoft legal (assuming if they ever audit) you should always buy a full copy unless you have a legitimate resellers permit and are a reseller of computers.
