Can't cover a single vertical line of pixels on homepage slider

Hello, on our homepage http://stoneflypress.com/index.php we have a single vertical line all the way to the left on the slider/banner rotator that we're having trouble covering. It's like there's a mask that's one pixel too small for the divs overlaying the slide but that may very well not be the case.

User generated imageI'm trying to get the left button to extend all the way to the edge of the frame, same for the lower opacity box with the two navigation bullets on the very bottom. Any insights?

So the page is now 100% validated and still in google chrome I get the one pixel space at 100% zoom all the time.

I just updated my menu css and it looks like the gap disappeared. I'm sorry to offer that I'm not sure what change it was that corrected the issue but it's gone. Thanks for the input.
It may be that the old version was still in cache and the update cleared it.
