Roaming Profile Printer Issues
We have an Active Directy domain running on Windows 2012 datacentre, we have group policies set up for roaming profiles and folder redirection.
All printers are installed on a 2012 datacentre print server and all the desktops are VDI-in-a-box.
Every time our domain users log on they loose their default printer settings, and for some users all their installed printers disappear and it does not allow us to reinstall them.
Please can any one point us in the right direction to solve these issues.
Thank you

1) The clients are running Windows 7 Enterprise. Yes thats correct, its a Citrix solution.
2) There are no errors shown on the 2012 print server or clients.
3) This has happened on one of our physical workstations but this is mainly happening on the VDI PCs.
4) All printers are deployed via Group Policy.
5) We are not having any issues with folder redirection
Thank you..

We have created a policy for each printer, these are then assigned to user groups depending on what printer they use.
The printers seem to be applying but the default printer does not save.

2) Are they any errors on the 2012 print server or clients?
3) If a user logs into a physical workstation do they still have the same printer issue?
4) How are you deploying your printer mappings? script GPP?
5) Any problems with your folder redirection? You can enable client side verbose FD logging by doing the following: http://rays-it.blogspot.com/2011/07/enabling-folder-redirection-logging-to.html
Look forward to your reply..
