Bluetooth speaker won't connect

I have just bought a bluetooth speaker - Technika SPB112, a brand sold IN THE uk THRU tESCO SUPERMARKET.

I have an HTC Wildfire S which connected with the speaker and worked first time.

When I tried to use it with my Samsung NC10 running retail Windows 7 it won't work saying:

"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.

To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."

Update Driver button and Windows Update fails to find a driver.
The device pairs but does not connect.

Ideas?

Did you get any software disc with your Speaker?

ASKER

No disk or s/w. And very simple sheet of paper as a manual. But it works fine with the phone.
On the speaker's box it states "Connects with any bluetooth device 2.1+EDR and above"

Might the NC10's bluetooth not be compatible? If so, how would it show this? Give an error or just not connect?
Can you do the following ?

Link to check hardware ID

Just be sure to do it for the Bluetooth Speaker which will show up as unknown device in Device Manager.
then paste the hardware ID`s in here.
4 functions listed under device Functions when I click on the speaker's icon in device mgr.

hard ware IDs given:
BTHENUM\{0000110e-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_LOCALMFG&000f
BTHENUM\{0000110b-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_LOCALMFG&000f
BTHENUM\{0000110e-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_LOCALMFG&000f
BTHENUM\{0000111e-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_LOCALMFG&000f

NC10 was released in 2008 originally with Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. (EDIT: According to Wikipedia)

I bought it about 2010 so could have a later version. Have looked but can't find version info in Control Panel/System

No, haven't needed to use bluetooth before with netbook. Cheapness of a lightweight speaker louder than my plugin X-Mini speaker tempted me. If it doesn't work at least it works with the phone and I can connect the netbook using mp3 cable. I expect I will be getting a new netbook soonish. Thanks for ur help. Will close this now as have to rush off but will update here later to say if that driver worked or not.
