Cannot Send/Receive External Email
After spending a night recovering from a power outage & networking error, I have brought the server back to what I thought was operational. The server is running Small Business Server 2008 and Exchange 2007. It is also the domain controller.
I can no longer send or receive emails from outside email addresses. I can send and receive emails internally, just not outside. Weird thing is I am not getting any kickback emails as well until recently when I got one specifying it has tried to delivering the message for the past 4 hours with an error:
A temporary error occurred while delivering to the following address(es):
<me@myorganization.com>: 452 Validating Sender: 4.3.1 Insufficient system resources
I will continue trying to send the message until it is delivered or expires.

Is your C:\ going full?

It doesnt say the message was rejected because of it tho...that there is an error. I am running low on some disk space but I will try to find where the queue log is being stored and get back here, I know i need 4GB of free space.

Wouldn't this pertain to both internal and external email tho if that was the case?
No. Backpressure is designed to degrade gracefully. As space continues to decrease, more services stop working to reduce disk writes. External access is one of the earliest services to go away.

It indeed was the size of the disk. Thank you all very much for the help. Crazy how that would effect only external email....
