Yahoo Home Page in IE 8, Error Message "stack overflow at line:1
Its been quite a while since i have posted here because everything was running good. The issue that cropped up last nite when i opened IE 8 with Yahoo as my home page, an unfamiliar Error Message occured...... Message from webpage " stack overflow at line:1" I have searched on Google and tried everything with no success. Looking for help please! Im not really into "Fixing" programs on the net as most Google answers suggest! I tried that several years ago when i was running Win 2000 and had nothing but a heartache and headache! Im almost sure as indicated in several answers from the Google Search it may have something to do with Java/Debugging/Script error or something of that nature. This is beyond my understanding, however i was able to follow several suggestions but the error message keep haunting me. The Error message goes away when i click OK and everything else on the computer seems to be working fine. I have no problem logging onto secure sites or borwsing the web, perhaps maybe running a little slow is all but not that bad!

Problem solved! I did a system restore 2 day before and then 3 days before and it solved the issue. At that point i did a Java Update! I did look at the link provided and have saved it for future reference!

But I think I would first try a System Restore to a date before the problem started.
