How to connect Cisco Stack to another stack?
Hi There,
Currently i have 2 3750x switches in stack 1 and i would like to install second stack however because of cabinet issue(cabinet attached to the wall). I would like to install stack 2 adjacent in the next cabinet. How can i connect the new stack back to stack 1 ? is it only a matter of connecting the stackwise cable ? and do i have to reboot the primary stack so that stack 2 is a part of same host and ip address.
Thank you.

Thank you all for the prompt reply.
Excuse my ignorance here it's my first stack installation.
On the stack 2 do i connect the stack wise cable to stack 2 port and then go directly to stack 1 port stack 2 ? and then connect the up-link ?
I'll have a read on the Cisco site as well. Many Thanks

VTP, STP or RSTP needs to be carefully considered also.
You can use etherchannel uplinks for bigger bandwidth.
Consider implementing the 3-Layer switching model (Core, Distribution and Access) if you have multiple vlans.
