Windows Server 2012 GPO - Scheduled Tasks
Hi,
I have a Scheduled Task which I am using against Win 7, Server 2008 & Server 2008 R2 to kick off a powershell script at login.
The problem I am having is that this scheduled task does not work against Win 8 or Server 2012.
I've tried recreating the scheduled task on a Server 2012 box via the GPMC on the server - instead of on my Win 7 box that I use for most management but still no luck.
I tried using a login script to import the scheduled task from file via powershell, but this in turn throws a different error.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Rob

Tried that both to create the task in full and use /XML and both give me an:
"ERROR: Access is Denied" message
Tried to run the .bat file as Admin (even though im domain admin) still the same.

I resolved this by converting the exe that the scheduled task was for to an MSI for GPO deployment.
