windows 2003: Files of this type cannot be made available offline (roaming profiles)
Hi
I have a windows 2003 server with XP clients
We are setting up roaming profiles
I use GPO to redirect Application Data, My Document and Desktop to a hidden share on network
The Roaming profile and syncronization works well accept towards the end of the syncroniaztion it comes up with a warning on some files
"Offline files \\server\user\"help.db_" could not be made available on \\server\user\application data\openoffice.org\3\user s\extentio ns........ ."
I get like 8 of this warning on file types like "db_" and "dbf"
I have tried using GPO to exclude this file extentions but no joy. I still get the warning.
Everything else is ok
My Question: I have tried to find a way to hide the "warning" message as the users think something is wrong".
Is there a way to make the system "ignore" the warning so I dont get the erro report.
I have to click "close" for it to complete and it logs off correct
Kind Regards Morten44
