Vmware ESXi unknown inaccessible

Hi Experts

I am experiencing a problem, we have a server with raid 5 with one disk that went bad, when the tech changed the hard drive he went back into the raid configuration and I guess added the drive ( Yes he should not have touch the configuration)

Anyway now when we go into vsphere I get The VMWARE ESX 4.10 Server does not have persistent storage, I look at the configuration tab and under data store, it is blank. I have tried re scan all but nothing has come up.

But under devices I see the hp attached hard drive with the VMFS partition.

Also when I go into VMware console and use the command disk -l I see my VMFS.

I have tried so far click on create a data store and it and select the HP Hard drive and I have tired both the keep existing signature and the assign a new signature  both time it says this disk already has a VMFS datastore and I cannot go ahead.

I am at a complete lost and have search the web have not found my solution.

Also have rebooted my server multiple time and restarted management console no luck.

There has to be a way to attach this vmfs to my vsphere console so I can have access to my Virtual machines.

What does actually RAID configuration utility say about this drive? And the RAID itself, is it still shown as a single RAID5 or are there more RAIDs configured?
