How to: Setup Exchange mailbox on BlackBerry Bold 9900?

Have just finished setting up a new small network using SBS 08 and MS Exchange 2007.

I have a mixture of iPhones and blackberries.

Adding Exchange mailboxes to the iPhone was a breeze, however it seems more complicated for these Blackberries.

What are the steps required to setup an exchange mailbox on the Blackberry?

It's one reason blackberry will no longer exist come next year (in my opinion).  You cannot setup the same kind of sync with a blackberry.  You have to setup as a pop3 mailbox (though I think there's a way to specify it through OWA).  Alternatively, you can add Blackberry Enterprise Server Express (BES Express), a resource heavy tool that can sync for you.  But it's a pain to setup and get working and recover if something goes wrong.

I'm not sitting in front of it, but if memory serves there are a dozen or so services  Almost as many as Exchange has.  And I've heard repeated stories of issues with installation.  If you follow the guided install on the RIM web site, setup is fairly easy... but try to do it on your own - it's FAR from point and click.
I would also agree BES Express is well worth setting up, and is the way to get full sync, and device management, but you can configure using OWA.

Add mail account by selecting setup | email | other
enter e-mail address and wrong password, it will fail

there will be an option displayed “I will provide the settings”.
Two options POP/IMAP  or Outlook Web Access, choose the latter
Enter your e-mail address, if multiple addresses use default/reply address
Enter password (domain password)
Enter OWA URL:  https://remote.domain.abc/owa
Enter user name (domain logon name)
Enter mailbox name: check Exchange management console. Usually the same as domain logon name.
