USB 3.0 SATA DISK Hotswap problem, EVENT ID 57
I have a simple USB 3.0 disk docking for SATA disk which I thought I could use daily backup for server. So, I like it to make it hot swap enabled. I disabled write caching on the disk and tested a couple of hot swap (without doing 'safely remove, plug and unplug), it seemed it works well, didn't have any problem. But when I checked windows event, there was a warning , Event ID 57 'The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur.' and source is 'ftdisk'.
It seems like turning off writing cache on the disk itself is not the only thing to enable this SATA disk hot swap. What are the other steps I have to do?
host: windows XP, USB 2.0
docking station: USB 3.0
disk: Western Digital WD2500YS 250GB
