I have a simple USB 3.0 disk docking for SATA disk which I thought I could use daily backup for server. So, I like it to make it hot swap enabled. I disabled write caching on the disk and tested a couple of hot swap (without doing 'safely remove, plug and unplug), it seemed it works well, didn't have any problem. But when I checked windows event, there was a warning , Event ID 57 'The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur.' and source is 'ftdisk'. <br />

It seems like turning off writing cache on the disk itself is not the only thing to enable this SATA disk hot swap. What are the other steps I have to do? <br />

Storage devices include any device used for storing and retrieving digital information.
