What version are you running? If you are running 5.0 below SP4, I would upgrade to SP4. That  resolved a number of issues. I found other posting about this error where upgrades seem to correct the problem. One was going from 4.1.6 to 4.1.7.

We are using blackberry version 5.0.3.31 from admin console.

From add/Remove programs its found as,
version: 5.0.3 MR (bundle 163)

I think its version 5 with SP3.

Please confirm which is the latest SP available and procedure to go from SP3.

Thanks.
You didn't mention if your services are distributed. Below is the proper order they need to be upgraded. Otherwise, if all of the services are on one server, you just install the service pack. http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/viewdocument.do?noCount=true&externalId=KB24541&sliceId=2&cmd=&forward=nonthreadedKC&command=show&kcId=KB24541&ViewedDocsListHelper=com.kanisa.apps.common.BaseViewedDocsListHelperImpl
We have single BB enterprise server instance in production (BES + SQL database server) with fail over server in test environment.
MS SQL 2005 server used as back end database to store configuration items.
I upgraded my HA server first and moved all of the users to it. Verified it was working, then upgraded my production server.
