I am trying to setup a custom event filter to fire when a task fails to start in the task scheduler. The setup is as follows. The source is set to taskscheduler. The task category is task start failed and the keywords are set to all. When I try to save the task it is giving me the following “An error has occurred for task taskname. Error message: the following error was reported 2147942450”. I am unable to find any information about the Error. Please assist.

Task scheduler to manage event fails

Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2, based on the Microsoft Vista codebase, is the last 32-bit server operating system released by Microsoft.
