Blackberry link software blue screen
Hi all,
I have attempted to load and launch the blackberry link software on Windows 7 64 (machine with no issues prior), only to have it immediately cause a bluescreen of death on launch. I see that I was not the onle one with the issue, but the other topics I search appear to have been abandoned without resolution.
Any advice? Removal (including folders in PF) and reinstallation does nothing. Netio.sys is the faulting application, with stop code 0x00000050 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_ARE A. File name for fault is ntoskrnl.exe+f3cb0.
Please redirect me / others here if this has already been resolved elsewhere.
Any further information you need to assist will be provided promptly.

IainxNIX,
The Blackberry Z10 does not use the DSM any longer, as I found out when trying to connect the two. Link is a new version, for the OS10 devices / Playbook.
Thanks for the input. Here is a link to where some others from Blackberry are trying to assist as well:

sounds like you have a driver or app incompatibility issue which is triggered when the app is loaded. this was a known issue with some USB port drivers and v5.01 of DM.
